What happens on Photo Day?
About 2 weeks your scheduled photo day you will be given an order form with package information and details on when your child will be photographed. Each Child will bring this form with them on photo day with their order and payment details filled out. (or place an order online) Each child will have their individual portraits taken, a group photo (if applicable for kinder) and then we will photograph your child's play photos. We aim to do some activities inside and some outside.
What happens after Photo Day?
Online Galleries are ready to view with in approx 2-3 weeks after the last Photo Day at the centre. If families order digital files they are delivered immediately at this time.
Because most orders have already been made, our team are already working behind the scenes to get images printed and ready for printed packages & albums. You can expect a delivery of final images & products, ready for distribution to families within 6-8 weeks after the last Photo Day at your centre. We work within the school terms so aim to have everything delivered at the start or end of a term.
What do you offer for Kinder Children?
For Kinder photos, we have a lovely 5X7 inch hard cover Album which contains your child's formal portrait, up to 6-7 candid photos, a group photo and allows space at the back for additional photos from through the year or Graduation. We also offer a number of budget friendly options including our Mini-Album and smaller individual print packages as well as a digital only option.
Do you offer Kinder Graduation Photos?
Yes!!! I love returning at the end of the year to see the children again to photograph them in their Graduation outfit with their certificates. There is also space in the Kinder Album for a print from your Graduation session so that everything is kept in the one keepsake album. Get in quick as spaces to return to your kinder at the end of the year fill fast!!
Can I order extra copies of Kinder Album for Grandparents or family members?
Yes! You can absolutely order more than one copy of your album for grandparents or other family members. You can also view you images online and order individual prints of various sizes or other products such as key rings or timber freestanding prints as gifts etc.
Need it shipped direct to a grandparent who isnt local? Let me know and this can be arranged!
Can I order digital images, prints & products?
Yes! We love that families get to view their images via the online gallery where they can order a variety of products including collages, canvas prints, framed wall art, digital images and of course regular prints. You can also share your gallery link with family and friends so they can make their own order.
Can you post orders?
We prefer to deliver to the centre directly, but Yes we do post! Any order made through your online gallery has the option of collection from my Moe Studio, Delivery to your Centre or postage direct to you or your family member. This is handy for other family members who would like to order images and have them posted direct to them or if you have moved and would like to order.
What if my child is absent or sick on Photo Day?
If an order form has been completed and payment received, (or will be completed on the day) we will aim to schedule them for another day and pop into the centre to photograph any missing children at a later time. If you are local to Gippsland, we hold regular studio daycare/kinder headshot days where you can pop in and get your child's headshot taken.
What is the cut off for ordering after Photo Day?
We like to have order forms completed and returned on photo day. This enables us to photograph for the package you have chosen and provide a fast turn around of galleries and images. After Photo Day, you may order additional images or products at any time. Galleries stay active until the end of the term and can be reactivated for ordering anytime in the 12 months following.
What are your payment options?
Payment envelopes are provided for photo day. Depending on agreed centre policy, cash, credit card or online payment options are available. Need to use Afterpay? Send me through a request and I will be able to activate afterpay on an invoice for you; studio@naomiseccombephotography.com
What should I dress my child in ?
It is important that your child feels comfortable on Photo Day. You don't have to dress your child in anything too fancy, just some nice clean clothes. Sometimes your Kinder will ask you to wear the Kinder Uniform for the group photos. If you wish to change for the individual play photos, you are more than welcome to but you need to ensure there is a separate plastic bag of clothes that is clearly labelled for photo day and that this is communicated on your order form & to the staff at your centre.
Do you take Sibling Photos ?
Yes! Sometimes children are lucky enough to be in Kinder with a Sibling or other family member. Or their Kinder might be in a Daycare Centre where a sibling or other family member attends. If we are aware of your wish to have a sibling photo included in your child's Kinder Album, we will do our best to accommodate this on Photo Day. Please add a note on your order form.
What if my child does not want to be photographed or is shy ?
We take the time to get to know your little people! They all have different personalities, and love doing different things. It's important that I build a rapport with your child and let them take the lead with their photos and doing an activity they have chosen to do, or adding a little competition or even having the child photograph the photographer!! We have a few tricks that usually get the shots we need for their photo package.
What if I am not good with computers?
We provide an online gallery as it is the quickest way for you to see images. We also have paper order forms which you will receive inside your Kinder Album, so if you would like to order any additional products or digital images, you can contact us with an order at a later stage.

Quality Control
It is very rare that we are unable to get the photos we need to forfill your package, but I am up front and honest and will only provide a high quality product. If I feel the photos we have take on the day do not match our normal quality, you will be contacted and given some options. We may organise to return to photograph your child again, we may offer for you to view the photos to see for yourself, offer a downgrade of package or in severe cases a full refund. We pride ourselves on communicating openly with clients.
